What was new on national TV 6 last years ago? Well, it was those taiwan drama series dubbed in tagalog. The first and foremost show in line with it is Meteor Garden. The major casts are the F4 members and Barbie Xu. That show really a made a great hit all over the Philippines, as if there was an absolute invasion. Fanatics, supporters or whatever other would like to be called came from varied age groups who were addicted to them. I'm not kidding! As in from those child I see in the streets who have their cut like F4 to those grandmas and grandpas chitchatting about in a corner. I really can't believe it because in every corner I hear the topic is almost always the same. From here an existence of a "
f4 craze" started.
(there fate is so lucky!!! I wish I could also have that kind of success they had. As in reaching the peak of it.) Not to mention that I was also a victim of it.

Main CastsIn that tv station wherein MG was aired certain shows was also made to know more of them. Of course, there were a lot of people hooked up to those shows as the network expected. A public demand for having those guys go to the Philippines for shows, guestings, concerts etc was also granted. Some says that it was like a dream bringing to reality.

Vic, Jerry and Kris AquinoBefore their concert, shows and guestings was done. I remember this fabulous interview they conducted. I forgot the date and day but it was shown a bit late at night. The host of the show was Kris Aquino, one of the best show host of the Philippines, was assigned to conduct it. Though the show was so short
(30 minutes) it was really worth seeing because the content of the talk was so humorous and fun. Having seen this show, tickets being sold for the concert was going up until it there was a shortage. In the concert, not all of the casts in MG was there (
Yeah right! for business purposes.. Wheew!) In my part, even if I badly wanted to go so badly I decided to be at home. (isn't it sad?) My grounds for that are 1.) the venue if so far from my house and the means of transporation is a bit a problem becoz no one can drive the car (
I want to have a comfy travel! [like an artist. haha! XD]) 2.) I'm afraid of getting lost in there. Plus the fact that it'll be held at night.... I think that I'm so young to be homeless. (
am i exaggerating? ^_- well, im just seeing things in a bigger perspective)

Vic ZhouTheir popularity went on for a long way, about a year. The media even compared them in a certain foreign boyband on the 70's or 80's who also gained a high popularity in the Philippines. F4's dramas
(MG is a series, just in case if anyone in the house doesn't know) , magazines, albums, MTVs and songs were really supported by the crowd. there were also a number of people who memorized the lyrics their songs without knowing its meaning esp. the songs played in the drama series.
Hahaha! And I'm one of them. =) But in fairness in my part, I first look up for it's meaning and have a selected song to be liked of. But there were also some instances that I like the melody first not bothering so much of the message.
There are many things in life which are unpredictable. I didn't expected myself being so open in accepting new and alien things entering my life as early as that time. And that I'm really getting the pleasure out of it. After MG, I had been already watching drama series esp. TDS until now and I just couldn't stop myself doing those thing ABRUPTLY.
Since I was victimatized..
(whatta term. XD bitter?) But I didn't had a regret. nevah.
